Ford Cortina MK5 2 Door 1.3L. Owned by the same family since 1987. Currently MOTD till Jul 23 and starts runs and drives. The car is in need of a tidy up, mainly in the paintwork department but is very rare being a 2 door. Good MOT history. Car is showing 89000 miles.

 

Body - Mk5 Cortina 2 Door. Good inner wings, floors look good. Its had a repair on the passenger side in the boot in the past. It needs a small repair where the fuel filler comes through the boot. Underbonnet is good and solid but a bit scruffy with little surface rust spots all over it. Paintwork looks ok in pics but in reality is a bit patchy and has been touched up here and there over the years. Probably looks a bit better in the pics than in reality.

 

Mechanics - Quiet little 1300 crossflow. Starts and runs well. Gearbox is OK, Brakes are good. Bit of a grumble from either a rear wheel bearing or diff, but not major. Few spares in the boot for the car.

 

interior - Original Interior which in the main is good apart from the drivers seat which has had a DIY repair, which will need sorting out.

 

Wheels - Deep dish steels with chrome trim rings. Wheels could do with a refurb.
